Only in rare situations you may want to increase this setting beyond the recommended default value. In general the default 100ms is recommended to have accurate Cloud Logging data and at the same time reduce the impact on the PLC to a minimum. While the IXrouter does wait for the PLC to reply before asking again, in very rare cases this may noticeably impact the PLC's performance. To log data as accurately as possible, the IXrouter continuously asks the variables' values from the PLC (this does not count towards your license's dps/hr).
Variables configured in the IXON Cloud, as well as intermediate addresses, are requested from the PLC, but only the configured variables are logged to the IXON Cloud. This mode may result in errors if intermediate variables do not actually exist in the PLC (please use "Optimized" instead if this is the case).
